TL Audio ceases trading

High-end audio manufacturer TL Audio has today ceased trading, with further details on the state of the company set to emerge next week.

With a meeting of the company’s creditors scheduled for Monday February 13th, chartered accountant and insolvency practitioner Harris Lipman has told API it has yet to confirm what the next move will be for TL Audio.

Founded by Tony Larking in 1990, the company was initially involved in restoring vintage equipment, such as Neve and Trident recording consoles. Since then, TL Audio has become best known for its valve products, with its C-1 Dual Valve Compressor among the most famous models in its Classic range.

Further developments are expected as a result of next week’s meeting and API will bring you the latest developments as and when they emerge.
