Audiologic hires technical support specialist

Audiologic has strengthened its team with the appointment of technical support specialist Yavor ‘Max’ Yanakiev.

Yanakiev joins the AV equipment provider from the Shoreditch Bars Group, where he was tasked with designing, installing and commissioning audio and AV systems for the group’s various premises, as well as supervising, training and offering technical support to in-house and freelance engineers.

An expert in the set-up, configuration and operation of analogue, digital, networked audio, video and multimedia gear, Yanakiev’s talents are well suited to the Audiologic brief, the company says.

He has qualifications in electronics and broadcast engineering, and a 1st Class Honours BSc in Audio Video Systems from London Metropolitan University.

"Max will work with our in-house team in relation to all our brands as well as, where necessary, visiting customer sites to offer support. His wide-ranging technical literacy combined with an empathy for the practical side of audio life is going to be hugely beneficial to our team and customers alike," said Audiologic’s sales and marketing manager Andy Lewis.

"His familiarity with AV is an added bonus, as is the calm and assured manner you expect from a tech who’s worked at the sharp end. His pursuit of academic excellence to supplement an already well-developed career demonstrates exactly the kind of qualities we looked for to fill this position. Max is without doubt a great acquisition for Audiologic."
