Cadac appoints Australasian supplier

Hills has been named the new exclusive distributor for console maker Cadac in Australia and New Zealand.

The supplier recently celebrated its 70th anniversary, and specialises in the distribution of technology and communication solutions across a wide range of market sectors, including AV, home, health and education.

Dan Fletcher, head of Hills AV, stated: “Hills is extremely proud to be exclusively distributing Cadac consoles in Australia and New Zealand. At Hills, the combination of Cadac with other world leading audio brands, such as L-Acoustics and Biamp, continues to provide our partners and their customers with complete solutions that are trusted the world over.

Consultant support manager Bryan Davidson (pictured, left) has been busy building the Hills brand portfolio, and added: “Cadac is the perfect fit for our brand portfolio, it will partner extremely well with L-Acoustics to service the premium end of town, including both the touring and fixed installation markets.

As part of its focus on brand support Hills has appointed Blake Kirby as Cadac product specialist. “Hills is very excited to have Cadac on board and we are all looking forward to bringing these consoles to market. Personally I look forward to working with everyone at Cadac very closely and delivering a great result,” he said.

Speaking for Cadac, director of sales and marketing Richard Ferriday (pictured, right) remarked: “The appointment of Hills as distributor for Australasia is a significant event that will enable a greater and more extensive development of Cadac’s brand throughout the region.
