Dynacord strengthens Vertical Array range

Dynacord has expanded its Vertical Array series to include two full-range loudspeakers – TS 100 and TS 200.

The new models offer high SPL, as well as impressive acoustic performance and versatility, and they are suitable for both live music reinforcement and installation applications. Ultra-compact, and featuring quality components, the two-way systems provide high intelligibility, along with even, controlled dispersion over the frequency range.

Light aluminum cabinets make them strong enough for extensive touring, and all the components are electronically protected from thermal overload. Linear-phase FIR (Finite Impulse Response) presets and presets for conventional digital controllers are also available for both speakers, which come with a choice of black or white finishes. Accessories include kits for both truss- and wall-mounting, along with a practical carrying bag.

TS 100

The TS 100 two-way, full-range box offers power handling of 150W/RMS. Its nominal impedance of 16 ohms allows up to eight TS 100 units to operate from a single power amp channel. For the low-frequency range and midrange, a low-distortion DND 6130-16 neodymium chassis is included; the high-frequency range covered by a Constant Directivity HPT94 HF horn that can be rotated through 90 degrees for horizontal applications. TS 100 is also equipped with an Electro-Voice DH3 driver for high-frequency reproduction.

TS 200

Weighing under ten kilos, TS 200 provides power handling of 300W/RMS. Its high sound pressure and precisely controlled dispersion make the TS 200 the ideal for various situations – in mobile use as a medium-sized front-of-house system with passive or active subs, full range, fill or delay in larger systems, as well as fixed installations. TS 200 also comes with a low-distortion DND 6130-16 neodymium chassis in vertical-array configuration, along with EV DH3 driver in a Constant Directivity HPT94 HF horn, rotatable through 90 degrees.

Dynacord is showing TS 100 and TS 200 for the first time at the InfoComm MEA show in Dubai this week (October 20th – 24th 2013).
