Eighteen Sound appoints new CEO

Eighteen Sound, the Italian manufacturer of high-end drivers, transducers and horns has named Pierpaolo Marziali as its new CEO.

Marziali is a native of Macerata, Italy, a graduate of the Alma Graduate School in Bologna with a Master’s Degree in Finance, and a member of the Landi Renzo Group, an automotive company based in Eighteen Sound’s home town of Reggio Emilia.

He brings to the role extensive experience in corporate business development and finance, which he gained during his previous joba at Landi Renzo. Over the past 12 months, Marziali has been working closely with Antonia Fiaccadori, Eighteen Sound’s former CEO, as well as other members of the management team, on growth strategies and a five-year business plan.

“At Eighteen Sound I found a challenging environment, with very skilled and passionate colleagues. Antonia did a great job preparing all of the elements that a company in this high-end sector needs to innovate, develop and market professional audio transducers with exceptional performance,” said Marziali.

Fiaccadori, who will remain on the Board of Directors as president, added: “I am extremely pleased that Pierpaolo has joined Eighteen Sound to take over the CEO leadership role at this important growth point of the company. His work through the past 12 months in the company, coupled with his broad base of experience and understanding, will be essential to our forward momentum and accelerated expansion.”
