Fairlight appoints Synthax Audio as UK channel partner

Synthax Audio has been appointed as the Fairlight Channel Partner for the UK and Ireland.

The Australian company is known for its products addressing the post-production and live broadcast industries with their EVO and EVO Live desks and CC2 Crystal Core technologies. 3DAW is Fairlight’s latest solution for film and TV post-production, and enables content creators to deliver 3D immersive audio in all main formats including Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos and DTS MDA.

Synthax Audio managing director Martin Warr commented: "We are delighted to have been appointed Channel Partners for such a prestigious brand. There are obvious synergies with our existing product portfolio, including RME and Ferrofish, but we are particularly excited about the possibilities our distinctive style of customer care will bring to the large established customer base, as well as new clients in the future."

"Working with Fairlight is a perfect fit and a natural progression for us from the last several years work building up client relationships,” he continued. “We regard it as imperative that a distributor adds value to the chain, and have always been heavily service oriented, before, during and after the sale. To that end, when Fairlight were looking for a new channel partner that would allow them to enhance local customer support, we were an obvious choice."

Synthax Audio will immediately assume responsibility for service relationships with existing clients, which will be backed with all necessary parts held in the UK for the first time in recent years.

Fairlight has also appointed two new business development managers – Taylor Latour, who is responsible for USA, Canada and Mexico, and Inder Biant, who is responsible for Europe including UK, and has further boosted its in-country representation in key territories; in the Asia Pacific region, Fairlight has appointed SRSG in India and CDA.Pro Audio in Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Fairlight customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore will also have enhanced local support thanks to the appointment of SSL Asia, which will represent Fairlight Post products in these territories.

"We are also very close to appointing a new channel partner in the USA," Fairlight CEO Philip Belcher noted, "and are speaking to a number of other channel partners in Europe who have the capability to provide In-country language sales, support and professional services to complement our existing signed partners."
