High-profile French events use new Clear-Com intercoms from Y & Co

Leading French audio rental company, Y & Co, expands its inventory with the addition of two Eclipse Matrix series intercoms and further gear from Clear-Com.

Y & Co have been a fan of Clear-Com gear since the rental company was founded in 1989 to provide rented audio solutions to live event facilities, tour groups and broadcasters. It was therefore an easy decision for the company to wheel into its stores a new Clear-Com 112-port Eclipse-Median and 36-port Eclipse-Pico digital matrix frames. What is more, Y & Co also picked up the V-series and ICS user control panels.

Certainly, the Y & Co team have been very impressed with Clear-Com’s intercom systems in the past, as the company’s Commercial Director, Yves Brunet, explained: “We have been extremely pleased with Clear-Com since the first Matrix Plus 1 product.”

Y & Co—who are members of the Clear-Com Global Rental Group—already have an inventory heavily built upon Clear-Com intercom systems. The company has Clear-Com’s Partyline systems, HME DX200, HME Pro850 and Tempest2400 wireless systems. The depth of Clear-Com gear held by the company is matched by the depth of their knowledge of the gear with Y & Co’s technical staff well versed in providing high-quality equipment installation and support for the systems.

Since being purchased, these new Eclipse Digital Matrix Systems have already had the opportunity to prove their value at several important performances and events throughout France. Included in these was the Celtic Rock Opera Excalibur au Stade de France (Excalibur at the Stade de France) in Paris in September 2011, the Convention Renault in Seville in November 2011 and La Nuit du Feu à Bercy (the Night of Fire in Bercy, Paris) in September 2011.

With the new tech on board, Y & Co—who have an impressive client list including companies like France Télévisions and Euro Disney and musicians and musicals such as Johnny Hallyday, Le Roi Soleil, Mozart and Dracula—are well prepared to provide an equally impressive service to future high-profile and impressive events. What is mre, in all their projects Y & Co can be certain of the support of Clear-Com’s French distributor, Montévrain based Audiopole, who are able to provide further intercom equipment as necessary.

“We are very happy to further enhance our relationship with Clear-Com and Audiopole,” added Brunet. “By partnering with Audiopole to offer Clear-Com’s Eclipse systems, we are presenting our customers with an expansive set of intercom options and creating more opportunities for satisfying customer’s changing needs in the years to come.”

“By paying close attention to the needs of our users, we realised how essential it was for Clear-Com to liaise directly with rental companies,” added Director of EMEA Sales at Clear-Com, Karlie Miles. “This partnership highlights Clear-Com’s continued commitment to evolve with the ever-growing requirements of our customer base. The agreement further solidifies the relationship with Audiopole and signals a direct assurance of Clear-Com’s support for our loyal customer, Y & Co.”
