INFOCOMM 2013: Tannoy unveiling CMS 1201SW subwoofer

Tannoy will launch the CMS 1201SW subwoofer – the largest in-ceiling sub it has ever made – at InfoComm.

The CMS 1201SW offers tight and controlled bass extension, delivered with authority and agility, for a wide range of applications – both large and small scale. The company’s other commercial installation products, such as the CMS and CVS Series, will also be on show.

Tannoy is exhibiting alongside fellow TC Group brands Lab.gruppen and Lake at the event (Booth 401), which takes place from June 12th to 14th 2013 at the Orange Country Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida.

With a joint appearance that consolidates their respective expertise in loudspeaker technology, amplification design and processing prowess on one booth, Tannoy, Lab.gruppen and Lake will share a demo room (W204C) as well, where visitors and delegates can see and hear the latest product innovations first hand.

There will also be regular demonstrations and listening tests of Tannoy’s VX Series and VSX subwoofers, powered by Lab.gruppen’s new IPD Series amplifiers, in room W204C.

Demos running at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm every day will give visitors the chance to check out more new products from Lab.gruppen, as well as Tannoy’s popular VLS Series passive column loudspeaker line, incorporating FAST (Focused Asymmetrical Shaping Technology). Attendees will be offered live listening tests and a run-through of its features and what it offers systems designers and contractors.

The presentations will be rounded off with a brief look at the new flagship QFlex 64 – Tannoy’s latest and "most capable" model in the now well-established digitally steerable array system range – as well as a quick overview of TC Group’s Application Engineering and Support team – on-hand in the demo room throughout the show.
