ISE 2014: Yamaha unveiling new CIS series loudspeakers

Yamaha Music Europe will display its complete range of products for the installation market at ISE 2014, including new loudspeakers.

Next year’s show sees the launch of major additions to the company’s successful Commercial Installation Solutions (CIS) series – EN54-24 certified versions of the VXC and VXS loudspeaker lines, which are designed primarily for PA/VA voice alarm systems.

Visitors will get to check out all the other models in the VXC and VXS ranges, as well as the XMV multi-channel amplifiers, MTX matrix processors and DCP controllers.

The firm will also demo its new Commercial Installation Solutions Speaker Calculator (CISSCA) software. Available as a free download from the Yamaha Pro Audio website, the application quickly and accurately works out the number of speakers required for optimum performance in a room size specified by the user, and calculates the effective sound pressure level of the system.

Yamaha’s popular CL series digital consoles and optional I/O interfaces, such as the DUGAN-MY16 auto mic mixing card, will also be on stand 3-A112, alongside the manufacturer’s AV receiver and amplifier offering, and WORKproCA range of installation gear.

ISE 2014 takes place at Amsterdam RAI from February 4th to 6th 2013.
