New managing director for Beyerdynamic

Beyerdynamic has appointed Robert Winterhoff as managing director, with responsibility for global sales and marketing. He joins the company’s long standing MD Wolfgang Luckhardt.

As a part of its ‘Fit for the Future’ strategy and in response to the company’s continued growth, this newly created position within Beyerdynamic will strengthen the management team and goes hand in hand with other recent appointments within several key areas of the company’s global structure.

Winterhoff is a global business professional with over twenty years of success visualising strategies and leadership to achieve sales and business development targets. Prior to joining Beyerdynamic, Winterhoff held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility for nearly two decades at Harman.

Professor Wolf Michael Nietzer, chairman of the supervisory board commented: “By this enlargement of the top management team and a split of responsibilities, resources will be freed to further enhance Beyerdynamic‘s international growth and expand its market position"

“I am excited to co-lead a company with such legacy in professional audio," added Winterhoff. "The iconic brand is recognised as both a quality provider of the most reliable and robust headphones, microphones and conferencing systems and as a pioneer in broadcasting. I will continue to build on our 90 years long history to develop new ways to create, distribute and sell exciting products and services to customers and partners across the globe.

"I look forward to work closely with Supervisory Board, Wolfgang Luckhardt, the rest of the senior management team and our colleagues around the world to leverage the power of Beyerdynamic globally.”
