Pioneer DJ has chosen Leisuretec as its sole distribution partner in the UK.

As one of Pioneer DJ’s European trade distributors, Leisuretec’s role is to focus on the installation, hire and production marketplaces for the DJ range, as well as the new XPRS active PA speaker range from Pioneer Pro Audio.

The move is part of Pioneer DJ’s European route-to-market process, which seeks to focus attention and support on a tighter network of high-end professional specialists with direct accounts or indirect specialists through distribution partners such as Leisuretec.

The Bedfordshire-based company is also authorised to supply smaller specialist retailers that meet Pioneer DJ’s criteria but do not qualify for a direct account.

"When Pioneer DJ Europe split from the Pioneer corporation last year and became a completely new company – with all the challenges that entailed – Leisuretec’s excellent support during that period of growth made this appointment a very easy decision."
