Quested pens UK distribution agreement with Sound Network

Monitor speaker manufacturer Quested has announced the appointment of Sound Network as its new UK distributor.

“Quested has a phenomenal history and reputation and we want to partner with likeminded companies,” said the company’s director, Stuart Down. “After initial meetings with the team and witnessing the way they operate, I felt immediately at home and could see the value they would bring to our growing user base.”

Sound Network has already kick started an extensive demo programme for Quested monitors, with support available through the Sound Network team and its dealer network throughout the UK.

“At Sound Network, we only want to be associated with the brands that deliver extremely high quality and we think Quested firmly fits in this category,” said Adam Pierce, sales and marketing director for Sound Network. “With Quested’s legacy in the business and its new drive to succeed we are confident that we can provide the signature Sound Network touch and bring success to the brand.”

“In the ’80s my main job was visiting professional studios in the UK,” added Ralph Dunlop, director of Sound Network, who remembers being blown away by the Quested monitors in Lillie Yard, SARM, Abbey Road, Mike Oldfield’s studio and a few others. “They seemed to be head and shoulders above the rest in terms of clarity, transparency and wellie! I guess it is serendipity that Sound Network is being given this opportunity to join forces with Quested, having been a fan for so long.

"It is always exciting to be associated with a top quality product, manufactured by consummate professionals with knowledge, and who really care and take pride in what they do. We are all looking forward to a long and fruitful union.”

Concluded Down: “The infrastructure, commitment and dedication in supporting not only the products, but also all the dealers they work with, puts Sound Network in a different class. Quested Monitoring has a rich heritage and we are very happy that Sound Network is now part of this story.”
