Read the June issue of Audio Media International online now

The June 2015 edition of Audio Media International is now available to read online as a Digital Edition.

The frenetic festival circuit remains a vital revenue generator for many audio suppliers – but with often stringent noise limits and other specific environmental considerations, it is hardly free of challenges. In our main feature, David Davies looks at some of the latest solutions helping PA companies to optimise the festival audio experience.

Also in this issue, to mark exactly 25 years since the first issue of Audio Media was published, we catch up with Stephen Tayler, an interviewee from the debut edition, to look back on the recording process behind Kevin Godley’s ‘music chain tape’ One World One Voice, and discuss how technology has moved forward since the early ’90s.

Make sure you check out audio veteran Vlado Meller’s take on the evolution of mastering, an interview with Steinberg MD Andreas Stelling, a report on the recent BBC Sound: Now and Next event and reviews of the Radial Engineering JDI Stereo, Pioneer HRM-7 headphones and more as well.
