Sennheiser expands systems integration team

Sennheiser has announced the appointment of two new members to its UK sales force, Mark Haigh (pictured, left) and Kevin Gwyther-Brown (pictured, right), who both join the Systems Integration (SI) team as channel sales managers.

Haigh joins Sennheiser after 13 years at Bose and takes on responsibility for the company’s SI dealers in both the North and Midlands, while Gwyther-Brown, previously head of sales at Enlightened Lighting, will handle daily support and development of Sennheiser’s sub distributors and SI dealers in the South and South West of the UK. As well as being responsible for the SI dealers, Haigh will also drive specific product sales such as MobileConnect, TeamConnect and Sennheiser’s third party distributed brands.

“In my 33 year career, I’ve only had two previous employers,” said Haigh, “Loyalty, relationship building and integrity are all extremely important to me and are principles that I bring with me to Sennheiser, in addition to a considerable knowledge of the pro audio industry. I’m very much looking forward to taking on the challenge of helping to increase Sennheiser’s penetration into the SI market.”

Gwyther-Brown’s experience at Enlightened Lighting and his role of technical sales in the pro-audio department at Batmink also make him the ideal choice for Sennheiser’s SI operation. “I have a great understanding of all aspects of the sales process,” he commented. “Seeking out new business and working on complex projects is something I’m passionate about. My new role will give me the opportunity to continue to develop these skills and to develop Sennheiser’s SI business further.”

“Mark and Kevin are great additions to the Sennheiser UK team,” remarked Simon Holley, sales director – pro A/V and systems integration for Sennheiser UK. “We are delighted to welcome them onboard and are looking forward to working together on some exciting new projects.”
