Sound Directions appoints business development manager

Sound Directions Ltd, the UK distributor for Active Audio, Ashly, Cambridge Sound Management, Fulcrum Acoustics and SoundTube has appointed Hanieh Motamedian as business development manager.

Motamedian’s new position arose due to increased sales growth and demand, and she will therefore be responsible for account management and sales functions in the UK market, the supplier says.

She had previously been engaged in the voice-alarm market with Application Solutions Limited in the role of sales manager, where she was responsible for sales forecasting, securing new business and providing customer service.

“Customers can expect an excellent level of attention and service from me in my new role. My aim is to quickly analyse requirements and provide service levels beyond expectation as one of my strengths is identifying mutually beneficial ways to work together to achieve common goals," commented Motamedian.

Achieving a BA (Hons) in political theory at the University of Portsmouth in 2007 and previously employed in events management with Palmer Sport and working as a private English Tutor in Italy, Motamedian brings a wide range of business and personal experience to the team at Sound Directions.

Stanislas Boivin-Champeaux, MD for Sound Directions, added: “Hanieh joins the Sound Directions team at a pivotal time. We continue to develop strong customer relationships and our portfolio of exclusive imported brands continues to expand each year.

“With Sound Directions widening customer support abilities, including system design services, Hanieh will be able to develop customer relationships with the confidence she has a strong team to support her business development functions, which will benefit customers and brand partners alike."
