BVE 2013: HHB announcing new products and company catalogue

HHB Communications and its post-production division Scrub will be exhibiting a variety of digital audio products at BVE 2013 in London on Stand D62A.

The show will serve as the UK debut for the new Røde iXY stereo microphone and app. Designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod, iXY features a matched pair of half-inch cardioid condenser capsules fixed in a 90-degree ‘near-coincident’ alignment for true stereo recording.

Another show highlight will be the new Nugen Audio Loudness plug-in bundle, which includes the VisLM-H, LM-Correct and ISL Inter-Sample True-Peak Limiter. Loudness metering and correction products from DK Technologies, Dolby, RTW and TC Electronic will also be on display.

Visitors are invited to collect a free print or digital copy of the HHB 2013 Catalogue, which will be released in time for the show. The publication contains technical and sales information on over 2,000 pro audio products from some of the world’s leading manufacturers.

Alongside HHB, Scrub will be demonstrating Avid’s Pro Tools HDX hardware and the new Pro Tools HD Native Thunderbolt interface, which offers Pro Tools HD software compatibility for laptops or computers with Thunderbolt-equipped CPUs or PCIe core cards.

Also on display will be Yellowtec’s full range of solutions for the broadcast media industry, including the iXm digital recording microphone, PUC2 24-bit/192kHz USB audio interface and the flexible M!ka module mounting system.

Visitors can also expect to see digital consoles from Avid, Digico, Studer and Yamaha; the 48-channel Digico UB MADI to USB 2.0 connector, Studio Technologies’ LiveLink remote camera interface system with video, audio and comms over fibre and the Timecode Buddy, a multi-channel timecode transceiver and generator that transmits over WiFi.

HHB and Scrub staff will be on hand throughout the event to discuss digital radio microphones, file-based workflow, and the latest products from Dolby, Dynaudio Professional, Genelec loudspeakers, Mogami cables, Wohler, SoundField Upmixing and 5.1 capture.
