BVE 2013: Shure to showcase new mics, headphones and wireless systems

Shure Distribution UK (SDUK) will show off some of the latest broadcast and production products from Shure at BVE 2013.

Alongside the manufacturer’s shotgun microphones and BRH Series headphones – its first-ever range of dedicated broadcast headsets – Shure’s recently introduced wireless microphone systems will be on display at the SDUK stand.

These will include the affordable FP range, the digital ULX-D system and the top-of-the-range hybrid analog/digital Axient line, which was used during last year’s Olympic Games.

FP is a portable, easy-to-use, durable, lightweight and cost-effective wireless microphone system, while ULX-D offers some of the latest advancements in digital wireless microphone technology and high RF efficiency, along with clarity of sound and long battery life.

Designed to provide high standards of wireless coverage for large-scale live productions and events, Axient is Shure’s flagship wireless platform, combining the latest digital wireless technology with the company’s decades of analog system design to create a range of wireless systems that offer all of the quality and reliability of wired microphones.

Shure Distribution UK will also be introducing portable recorder specialist Sound Devices’ new 664 field mixer, which features six input channels and four output buses – all recordable – making for up to ten tracks recording to SD and/or CF media.
