BVE North gets underway in Manchester

Manchester Central Arena opened its doors this morning for BVE North 2012.

Attendees will be presented with a line-up of expert speakers, leading technology manufacturers and suppliers, along with various networking opportunities.

BVE North also features four theatres offering a diverse range of seminar topics, and those seeking careers advice can visit the Skills Zone. New for BVE North 2012, a number of informal hour-long sessions will offer careers advice, free of charge, from expert practitioners in the industry.

Visitors will be able to get their hands on some of the latest technological innovations, with many exhibitors showing their products for the first time in the UK. Several global launches are also being promised. Many exhibitors will be running live demonstrations, including Mediaspec (Stand F13), which will have Avid’s leading UK product specialist, Simon Sherbourne, putting the Pro Tools HD Native Thunderbolt through its paces.

BVE North is also offering two lucky attendees the chance to win £500 towards a training course. Entrants must pre-register, or register onsite, and attend BVE North on either of the show days. A winner will be chosen at random on each day of the exhibition, with the first winner being announced at 5.30pm today, and the second at 4pm tomorrow.
