Stagetec opens Australian subsidiary

Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup has announced the launch of a new subsidiary in Sydney, Australia.

Located near the city centre in Huntley Street, Alexandria, the new premises was launched in order for the German firm to stay in closer touch with its customers in the region. Staff from the new division will use SMPTE in July and the Integrate Expo in late August as a launch pad for the office.

“Our company has seen surpassing growth in foreign markets in recent years. One of our secrets of success is to stay in close touch with our customers. Today we have our own subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, Russia and the USA all of which follow this philosophy. We’re now happy to offer the same level of service and sensitivity to our customers requirements to the fast growing Australian market”, said Stephan Salzbrenner, managing director marketing and sales.

Treva Head who has been involved in the Australian pro-audio business and the broadcast-sector for more than 15 years manages the Australian subsidiary. He will be backed by Mark Lownds as project engineer and Wil Stam who previously oversaw international sales at the firm’s headquarters in Buttenheim.
