Arxiduc Audio Co accelerates global expansion with DiGiCo’s Quantum 852

Arxiduc Audio Co has strengthened its position in the global live sound market with the addition of DiGiCo’s flagship Quantum 852 console, marking a significant step in both its technological evolution and international growth strategy.

Founded in Japan in 2013, Arxiduc Audio has steadily built a reputation for delivering high-quality sound reinforcement solutions across a wide range of applications. With operations extending into South East Asia through its subsidiary, Arxiduc Asia Co, the company has consistently invested in advanced audio systems to meet the increasingly complex demands of modern live production. The arrival of the Quantum 852, DiGiCo’s largest and most powerful console to date, represents a new milestone in that journey.

Arxiduc Audio is the first company in Japan to introduce the Quantum 852 into its inventory, reinforcing its commitment to remaining at the forefront of audio technology. The move builds on an existing relationship with DiGiCo that began in 2020 with the purchase of a Quantum 338 console, followed by the addition of a Quantum 225. Together, these systems have enabled the company to scale its operations and expand into more technically demanding projects.

The decision to standardise around the Quantum series reflects a broader philosophy within the company, led by CEO Hirohide Kobayashi. For Kobayashi, the selection of audio equipment is driven not only by performance specifications but also by how effectively it can address the unique requirements of each client and venue. This approach has been shaped by years of delivering tailored solutions, where flexibility and reliability are key to achieving consistent results.

By integrating the Quantum platform into its workflow, Arxiduc Audio has created a cohesive and scalable operational framework. The Quantum 852 plays a central role in this, offering a large control surface and high channel count suited to complex productions, from large-scale concerts to high-profile events. Its advanced processing capabilities, including Mustard Processing and the Spice Rack suite of onboard effects, provide engineers with a powerful toolkit to shape sound with precision.

Equally important is the system’s flexibility. With dual DMI slots per engine and the option to expand via Optocore networking, the Quantum 852 allows for significant future growth. This aligns with Arxiduc Audio’s ambition to broaden its service offering while maintaining a consistent standard of quality across all projects.

Alongside the console upgrade, the company has continued to adopt complementary technologies that enhance both workflow and performance. Arxiduc Audio was an early adopter of KLANG immersive in-ear monitoring, integrating the system into its engineering practices to improve the on-stage experience for performers. By delivering more natural and spatially accurate monitor mixes, KLANG helps reduce listener fatigue and allows artists to perform with greater confidence and clarity.

The introduction of the Quantum 852 has also coincided with the implementation of the Fourier transform.engine, further strengthening the company’s technical capabilities. This combination of advanced hardware and flexible software processing enables Arxiduc Audio to respond quickly to the evolving demands of clients, particularly in environments where sound quality expectations continue to rise.

For Kobayashi, the latest investment represents more than just an equipment upgrade. It signals a broader commitment to innovation and collaboration within the live sound industry. By combining cutting-edge technology with the expertise of its engineering team, Arxiduc Audio aims to deepen its relationships with production companies, engineers and partners around the world.
