Veale Associates offers studio advice service

Veale Associates has launched a new service whereby the firm’s principal Eddie Veale will visit a studio and use his vast experience to analyse the control room environment.

Clients taking up the offer will get the chance to discover and enhance the extent of their studio’s ‘sweet spot’, determine the accuracy of the sound field from the monitors, and receive suggestions for improving overall sound quality.

While the service has always been available as part of the company’s design and build service, it is now being offered to any studio proprietor – whether or not their studio was a VA project. Clients will receive a comprehensive written report with advice and recommendations.

As a recipient of a prestigious Sound Fellowship from the Association of Professional Recording Services (APRS), Eddie Veale is well qualified to report on studio sound quality and was responsible for a number of industry firsts.

Steve Williams, MD of The Chapel Studios in London, has already used the service, and commented: “I learned a lot and already my studio sound has improved. I certainly recommend Veale Associates.”
