26th AES UK conference comes to Glasgow

The 26th AES UK conference is set to be held at the University of Glasgow on 26 – 28 August 2015.

The conference will provide a forum for sharing ideas on teaching and pedagogy in the broad range of areas typically found in Audio Education. This will be the first time the UK conference will have focused specifically on Audio; it will bring together academics, industry professionals and students and will feature a series of presentations and panel discussions.

Highlights include 18 paper and eight poster presentations with panel discussions on work placements and studio recording practice on the Academic Track, while the Student Track aims to get students thinking about opportunities after finishing graduating, with a dedicated programme with talks from industry professionals

There will also be some joint activities and networking opportunities, and a chance to visit BBC Scotland to tour their facilities and hear about their own trainee programme.
