AES appoints Sean Martin as International Sales Manager 

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has appointed Sean Martin as International Sales Manager.

The appointment underscores the organisation’s momentum as the industry works towards bringing back live events. AES also intends to build upon the successful online events that it has hosted throughout the pandemic. 

Martin will be responsible for event sales, sustaining memberships, AES’s Audio Product Education Institute (APEI) sponsorships, E-Library subscriptions and working with AES Standards Sustainers.

“Sean has a phenomenal background in professional audio,” said AES Director of Sales Graham Kirk. “Ideally suiting him to for this new position. Given his proven record of success and his stature in the industry, we are confident that the Society, our industry partners and the industry as a whole will benefit from Sean’s joining the AES team.”

After starting his career at London’s Court Acoustics, co-owned by AES member Stephen Court and Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, Martin has held international sales and business development roles with a number of professional audio manufacturers including as JBL, Tannoy, EAW, Bose and Turbosound.
