EVE Audio celebrates 10th anniversary

German manufacturer EVE Audio is celebrating a milestone anniversary this month, having been in business for a decade.

The Pro studio monitor maker was founded in May 2011 in Berlin by CEO and Founder Roland Stenz who at the time had more than 25 years of experience in the pro audio industry.

The company then rolled out a range of studio monitors and subwoofers – all of which were equipped with on-board DSP technology.

This made EVE Audio the first studio monitor manufacturer in the world to rely entirely on built-in DSP – a technology that has now been adopted by all major manufacturers.

“The use of an inbuilt DSP offers many more options,” said EVE Audio CEO and Founder Roland Stenz. “For me as an engineer with my aim to design very user-friendly devices I always wanted to implement DSPs into studio monitors for greater performance and more flexibility”.

For EVE’s product line-up, Stenz also further developed the Air Motion Transformer technology that was originally developed by Oskar Heil in the early 1970s.

“To me the unmatched sound reproduction an Air Motion Transformer provides is the non-plus-ultra.” Said Stenz. “With some changes I was able to make to conventional Air Motion Transformers, I aimed to achieve a perfect balance for high-resolution and precise but silky-smooth sound reproduction. And we are proud and grateful to say that many of our customers hear and feel the same”.

The company has developed many ground-breaking products over last decade and its latest innovation is the super-compact 3-way system SC3070.

Since it was founded, EVE Audio has established a worldwide distribution network and its products are now available in more than 50 countries.
