Ferrofish introduces CV versions of Pulse 16 AD/DA converters

Ferrofish has introduced three new Pulse 16 models to its range of AD/DA converters – the Pulse 16 CV, Pulse 16 MX CV, and the Pulse 16 DX CV.

All three units offer DC-coupling on all 16 analogue outputs, meaning control voltages (CV) can be sent to analogue and modular synthesizers.

When used with an ADAT, MADI or Dante-equipped audio interface, the Pulse 16 CV Series can be used for controlling common modular synth parameters, such as oscillators, filters, envelopes and LFOs. Up to 16 channels of audio can also be recorded back in via the Pulse 16 CV’s analogue inputs.

The Pulse 16 CV Series offers three different options for musicians and producers working with analogue hardware – the Pulse 16 CV (ADAT), the Pulse 16 MX CV (ADAT and MADI), and the Pulse 16 DX CV (ADAT, MADI and Dante).

All three devices feature transparent AD/DA, with 16 analogue inputs and 16 analogue outputs alongside the various digital I/O options. Each unit features eight ADAT TOSLINK connectors for connecting with a wide range of audio interfaces, with MADI I/O offered on the Pulse 16 MX CV and DX CV via an SFP module.

The flagship Pulse 16 DX CV also features two RJ45 connectors for connecting to any existing Dante network, as well as functioning as a format converter between MADI and Dante.
