InfoComm 2012: Adamson to reveal Energia Beta II

Adamson has announced that it will be revealing Project Energia’s Beta II at the upcoming InfoComm 2012 show in Las Vegas.

The company will be revealing Beta II for the North American market at Booth 11728 in Hall C at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, whereby visitors will be offered a detailed technical tour of the Beta II elements.

Furthermore, Adamson will be launching its most compact products yet at the show, with a host of ‘mini’ additions to its Point Source Installation boxes. The products feature much of the same technology as the original Point Series range, completing the spectrum of two-way installation-specific products, from the largest 15” Point 15, all the way down to the dual 5” enclosure. These mark the smallest products in the company’s history, and are designed to represent the versatility of its product lines for various markets beyond the live touring sector.

The new dual 5”enclosure (Point 5) features 1 x 5” LF driver, and a second 5”coaxial driver. The 6.5” cabinet features a single 6.5”coaxial driver (Point 6). Both cabinets are built from 12mm Baltic Birch, as are their larger counterparts, and are equipped with 5/16” screws for replacement with eyehooks and other screw mounting accessories. They are flyable in both a vertical and horizontal plain and are also Omnimount 20 ready (can be ordered separately).

Both cabinets run 2 x NL 4 cables, but can be ordered with a custom barrier strip option. The screens are made of 18 gauge steel with colour-matched foam, and can be customised in the array of the Architectural RAL colour chart to strategically hide or match the speaker to their surroundings. These ‘mini’ cabinets are also designed to serve as fill boxes for under balcony or lip fill for medium and larger size installations in need of additional coverage, or as a main PA in restaurants, as well as a paging or public announcement speaker in libraries, schools and offices. The cabinets can be ordered in passive or active operation.
