ISE 2015: Show smashes attendance record

The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) attendance record was broken once again this week, according to the show’s organisers.

Although the ISE team are yet to reveal the exact figure, a Tweet from the official ISE 2015 Twitter account confirmed the overall turnout as "just under 60,000" – significantly higher than last year’s 51,003, and showing healthy growth ahead of next year’s event, which is set to take place across four days for the first time.

Educational highlights included Audinate’s pre-show Dante AV Networking World Congress, featuring manufacturers such as Lab.gruppen, Lake, Symetrix, and Bosch/RTS; the return of the AudioForum, a day-long training event dedicated to pro-audio topics and philosophies; and InfoComm’s Professional Development Programme, which offered sessions such as Lectrosonics’ Gordon Moore discussing digital audio protocols and ‘Five new technologies that will change the industry’ with technology evangelist Joe Cornwall.

There were also more than 950 exhibitors participating this year, with numerous audio companies using the platform to unveil new products or hand European debuts to recently-launched lines.
