KV2’s most compact loudspeaker to make UK debut at PLASA Focus Leeds

KV2 Audio will mark the UK debut of its most compact loudspeaker yet when it heads to PLASA Focus Leeds later this month.

Fresh from its international launch at the recent Prolight + Sound 2019 in Frankfurt, the ESD Cube ultra-compact passive 5-inch loudspeaker utilises a unique trans-coil design designed for superior vocal reproduction, extended high frequency response, increased dynamic range and the lowest distortion of any comparable loudspeaker in its class.

KV2’s trans-coil AIC (Active Impedance Control) technology, already deployed in a number of its products, has been taken to a whole new level in the Cube for “perfect” phase response across the extended frequency range.

The ESD Cube may be used as a standalone system with up to eight Cubes powered by a single ESP1000 amplifier or with the ESD1.10 single 10-inch passive subwoofer for applications requiring more low end reinforcement. One ESP1000 amplifier will run up to four Cubes and two ESD1.10s. A simple, proprietary flying bracket completes the system for a low profile look and easy installation.

“The Cube is our small solution to many of today’s big audio problems,” said KV2 Audio Europe managing director, Jonathan Reece. “For those looking to fill an area with high quality sound without seeing the speakers, the Cube is an ideal fit. Anyone with a venue where the priority is high quality audio in an ultra-compact, discreet format with an accent on design should be talking to us, or better still, coming to visit us at PLASA Focus to have a listen. We’re fortunate to be the only manufacturer at the show to have a demo facility, so please come along and take advantage of it!”

See and hear the ESD Cube for yourself on KV2 Audio’s stand R-C01 at PLASA Focus Leeds from May 13 – 15.
