Messe visitors to be offered first look at five new Radial products

A number of new ‘problem solvers’ from Radial Engineering will be making their Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound debuts this year, where the Canadian company is also giving visitors the chance to get a first look at five new additions to its portfolio.

These include the Presenter, which combines a microphone preamp and a USB program input to create what the manufacturer calls ‘the ultimate interface for any presentation’, from school lectures to corporate audio.

Then there’s the Cab-Link, which offers an easy way to connect one amp head to two speaker cabinets, allowing the user to connect cabinets in series or parallel configurations as required.

Next up is the SAT-2, a stereo audio attenuator and monitor controller, providing an adjustable level control wherever it’s needed. Compact, rugged, and completely passive, the SAT-2 is designed to be a simple yet powerful device.

The Backtrack is a compact stereo audio switcher, ideal for bands running redundant backing tracks on stage. It can be used to easily connect a laptop computer, MP3 player, or recording interface, ensuring that even if the primary backing track source fails, the show will still go on.

Finally, the MIX2:1 (pictured) is a ‘simple yet highly useful’ mixer that passively sums two audio channels down to one. This lets the user easily sum the stereo outputs of a console, recording interface, or portable playback device down to mono.

Other highlights include the 4-Play DI box and the Studio Q, LX2 and LX3, which made their debuts at AES 2016.

Radial Engineering will be situated at Booth C21 in Hall 4.1.
