MPX 2015: UK product debuts from A&H, Focusrite

There’s just a few days to go until Music Production Expo 2015 where some of the biggest industry brands will give ‘first UK showings’ of their products at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

UK product debuts include Focusrite’s new Clarett super-low latency Thunderbolt interfaces as well as Allen & Heath’s new ZED Series mixers, the super-compact ZED-6, ZED-6FX and USB interface-equipped ZEDi-8 designed for performing and recording musicians.

Also key to the MPX experience are the free-to-attend seminars. Recently confirmed for the Music Producers Guild ‘About To Press Record…Are You Ready?’ sessions are producer/engineers Danton Supple (Coldplay, Suede, Dave Gahan), Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Rae Morris, Madness) Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, Foals, PJ Harvey) and Dan Cox (Thurston Moore, Florence And The Machine, Tom Odell).

Other seminar and masterclass hosts include Yamaha (presenting ‘Synthesis Made Easy’), Cubase (Cubase 8 Pro Masterclasses with Michael Gomes and DJ Danny J Lewis) and MSL (‘Understanding Modular Synthesis’), as well as Native Instruments, Audio-Technica, Focusrite, SSR, and Prism Sound.

The exhibitor list also includes pro-audio brands such as Shure, Fostex, Steinberg, Eve Audio, PMC, Waves, Unity Audio, Primacoustic, Lab Gruppen and Radial.

On the exhibition floor, special show-only deals will be available from MPX’s retail partners, Production Room and Westend DJ throughout the event.

The Music Production Expo will take place from 20 – 21 November and is sponsored by retail partners The Production Room and Westend DJ, KMR Audio and MusicTech.

Tickets for MPX are priced at £12.50 in advance or £15.00 on the door and are available from The Ticket Factory or by telephone on 0844 338 0338.
