Music Production Expo moving to Milton Keynes

Music Production Expo will take place in an entirely new location when the show returns on 18-19 November 2016.

MPX is moving from its usual home of North London’s Emirates Stadium to the MK Arena in Milton Keynes and, as always, promises ‘the best in educational seminars and new gear.’

Among the expected highlights of this year’s show will be a very special appearance by two legendary UK producers. Between them Tony Platt and Phill Brown have worked with everyone from AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley to Soweto Kinch, Bombay Bicycle Club and Maxi Jazz – and MPX presents a rare opportunity to see the pair in conversation.

“An Audience With Tony Platt and Phill Brown” will cover topics including working with rock legends to modern production techniques.

The event will also feature a wide variety of free-to-attend seminars hosted by some of the biggest brands in the industry. Yamaha, Focusrite, Universal Audio and Steinberg (with more to be confirmed) are all set to deliver workshops and masterclasses throughout the show, aimed at taking visitors’ productions to the next level.

And of course the MPX exhibition area will be full of the latest synths, software, mics, monitors, outboard and accessories, allowing valuable hands-on experience of the best the industry has to offer.

For information on tickets (priced at £12.50 in advance or £15 on the door), a full exhibitor list and more, see the website below.
