NAMM 2018: Lewitt to debut LCT 441 FLEX studio mic

Austrian microphone manufacturer Lewitt  will launch the new LCT 441 FLEX microphone on its show booth (#11110) in Hall A at this year’s NAMM Show.

The LCT 441 FLEX, a 1″ multi-pattern studio microphone, is said to share the feel and sound of the company’s LCT 440 PURE.

The 1″ true condenser microphone features eight polar patterns to choose from, including three reverse polar patterns intended to provide flexibility without moving the mic. The package, which will retail for $399 US, includes a shock mount and magnetic pop filter.

Meanwhile on its NAMM booth, Lewitt will also demo its LCT 540 SUBZERO cardioid studio mic, along with the rest of its range of microphones.

Developed in collaboration with audio producers and engineers, the SUBZERO mic was first launched at the AES New York convention and began shipping late in 2017.

According to the company, the mic offers a lively, close-to-the-source character with no self-noise.
