PLASA LONDON 2013: Focusrite bringing full RedNet range

Focusrite will show off RedNet, its new range of Dante-powered audio networking interfaces, at PLASA London 2013 (stand C55).

RedNet is a series of break-in / break-out boxes for Dante digital audio networking systems. Intended for various different audio applications – from live sound rigs to theatre, education and commercial installations – RedNet brings studio-quality analogue and digital I/O, as well as Focusrite’s latest remote controlled preamps, to the Dante audio network.

RedNet 1 and RedNet 2 feature eight / 16 channels of line-level analogue in and out, along with the company’s precision 24-bit A-D and D-A conversion, ensuring high levels of audio performance.

RedNet 3 interfaces digital audio systems and components to the Dante network through AES/EBU, S/PDIF and ADAT connections, while RedNet 4 offers eight next-gen Focusrite remote controlled preamps/line inputs with a pair of selectable DIs to the Dante system. Completing the line-up are RedNet 5 and 6, which provide a bridge between the Dante network and Pro Tools|HD or MADI systems.

Also on display will be the RedNet Dante PCIe card, which delivers up to 128 channels I/O for any Dante network, along with a variety of software control solutions, such as RedNet and Dante Control.

RedNet product specialists will be at the show to offer further information to visitors, and will also present a fully integrated RedNet, Dante, MADI and Pro Tools|HD rig to attendees.
