PL+S 2018: Void Acoustics to expand Arcline system with new subs

Void Acoustics will return to Frankfurt’s Prolight + Sound show from the 10-13 April to preview six new products.

Products on display will include the Node series – Node 2, 2i, 4 and 4i – a range of passive and self-powered, multi-purpose loudspeakers; and the single and double 18 inch subwoofers, Arcline 118 and 218, to complete Void’s popular Arcline 8 medium format array speaker system (pictured), which was released last year.

Each of the Node series has multiple working surfaces, so it can be used as a near field booth monitor or conventional stage wedge, as well as having the ability to be pole mounted or wall mounted for FOH purposes.

The Arcline 118 and 218 are arrayable with one another in multiple configurations, including cardioid, while the company says that both subs have been specifically designed with the ease of touring in mind. Together with a high power 18” neodymium transducer, the FEA modelled hyperboloid porting reduces port noise and air distortion, while the advanced internal brace design brings weight reduction and increased cabinet rigidity. Cable management when running in cardioid configuration is also possible with the front speakONTM chassis.

As well as revealing the new wedges and subs, Void Acoustics will also showcase some of their existing touring and installation offerings: the Arcline 8, Air Vantage and Sub Vantage.

Visitors to this year’s Prolight + Sound at Messe Frankfurt can find Void Acoustics at Booth C65 on Level 1 of Hall 3. Those wishing to schedule an appointment with one of the team can email
