PreSonus unveils new Revelator USB mic

PreSonus has lifted the lid on its new Revelator USB microphone, designed for vlogging, podcasting and general home studio use.

The new Revelator USB mic comes with the same EQ and compression algorithms found in PreSonus’ StudioLive Series III mixers. Eight additional user presets are provided, with the full StudioLive Fat Channel controls available in Universal Control. A variety of voice effects are available, m while users can store up to four presets to be instantly selectable via the Preset button.

Two stereo streams offer loopback audio so users can quickly conference in Zoom calls, record gameplay, or showcase the audio in a YouTube video while adding commentary. Two streams for loopback audio enables users to mix and record audio from two different applications on their computer, along with their voice, at the same time using the interface in Universal Control. Built-in monitoring and an onboard headphone amplifier allow users to listen to their performance and mix in real-time.

Featuring a bus-powered, USB-C-compatible design, the mic can connect to a Windows or macOS computer and Android or iOS tablet. It also comes with PreSonus’ Studio One Artist recording and production software and Studio Magic Software Suite.

The Revelator USB is shipping now.
