Sennheiser UK announces installed sound seminar dates

Sennheiser UK has announced the dates of its 2012 installed sound seminars, with three events set to take place throughout the year.

Following last year’s sessions, Sennheiser has increased the number of events to three for 2012. Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh, has once again been selected as the initial venue on May 23rd, followed by two new venues; Ragley Hall in Warwickshire on May 29th and Surrey’s Pennyhill Park on May 31st.

Sennheiser will once again set out to help its customers achieve more from their working relationships, while also offering support to third-party brands that the company distributes through this series of seminars, which also incorporate a hands-on exhibition and demonstrations.

“The format of the seminars has proved popular over the past couple of years, so we be keeping the basis the same, but tailor the content to account for the constantly changing requirements of the industry,” said Ken Morrison, business area manager for Sennheiser UK. “The accent is still firmly on providing information, education – and a little entertainment – for our installed sound, AV and live sound colleagues in the industry.”

Participants will learn about the latest UK radio spectrum situation from Sennheiser UK business development specialist Alan March; receive an overview on the company’s latest G3 GB wireless products from chief engineer Andy Lillywhite and engineering and technical services manager Tim Sherratt; Lauren Rogers from RH Consulting will talk about the business of being in entertainment technology; whilst Dave Wooster, Sennheiser UK’s sound reinforcement specialist, will discuss sound in architecture, taking a look at K-array’s range of solutions from the Lyzards to the KR 400S system, and perform a live sound demo.

“The days will also include a series of workshops,” said Morrison. “These will cover APart’s range of products, look at Sennheiser’s Tour Guide system in action, RANE’s HAL DSP architecture – a system that provides an easy solution to complex networking tasks – and Sennheiser and Neumann’s range of digital microphones.”

Availability for the sessions is limited, so please visit to register. Places will be allocated on strictly first come, first served basis.
