Shure and Curtain Call announce virtual sessions supporting events industry

Shure and Curtain Call are hosting a series of virtual networking events for live events industry professionals.

The online gatherings will provide networking opportunities and a place for people to discuss the devastating impacts the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the sector and the livelihoods of live events staff. Participants will be able to seek advice on how to cope with the impacts of the pandemic and stay connected to fellow professionals.

The sessions will take place every Thursday evening in January starting on the 7th and ending on the 28th. The sessions will include advice and guest speakers covering topics such as mental health and wellbeing, finances, education and industry developments. Places will be limited and broken down into networking groups.

Marc Henshall, senior marketing specialist, pro audio, Shure, commented: “As an extension of our partnership with Curtain Call, we are committed to supporting the industry during a challenging period. With the hope that 2021 brings a return to normal work, now is the time to prepare. There is no better time to encourage people to support each other. We are proud to play a part in delivering a series of events to help ensure the year ahead gets off to the best possible start.”

We are excited to be joining forces again with Shure to help support those industries by engaging in wide-ranging conversations with professionals at the top of their game.  It is crucial that we maintain existing connections by reaching out, especially as a new year begins.
