Shure opens new Experience Centre and office in London

Shure has expanded its presence with the opening of a new Experience Centre and office in London.

The new location will host product demonstrations for corporate, government, and education customers seeking audio solutions for their respective facilities.

The new Rose Shure Experience Centre is named after the company’s former chairman, Rose L. Shure. Mrs. Shure’s husband, Sidney N. Shure, founded the business in 1925. Rose Shure remained closely involved with the Company for more than 60 years, until her passing in 2016.

Shure executives, including president and CEO Christine Schyvinck, participated in the VIP opening of the facility. Speaking to guests, Christine fondly remembered her many years spent working with Mrs. Shure.

“I think Rose would be honoured by being named after such an amazing complex, especially given the short amount of time it has taken to complete such an ambitious project,” she said.

The Rose Shure Experience Centre contains three state-of-the-art meeting rooms, representing a range of typical workplace environments as well as a training space with voice-lift camera tracking functionalities. It features a selection of products that reflect modern offices and educational facilities, offering clients an environment to demonstrate and understand the performance and potential of various AV systems.

“As a global leader in manufacturing audio technology, we had a very clear vision as to how we wanted the space to function as an Experience Centre,” said Andrew Francis, senior applications engineer at Shure. “The completion of the project is a great success and will also allow us to move forward and continue to build on the systems in place as our technology advances.”

Front and centre are Shure’s audio products, including its Microflex Advance and P300 IntelliMix Audio Conferencing Processor. Conference and discussion applications are met by Shure’s Microflex Complete and Microflex Complete Wireless solutions, while wireless presentation requirements are addressed by products such as the ULXD.

“The Rose Shure Customer Experience Centre has been the accumulation of many, many hours of work by Shure Associates from all areas of the business,” said James Hill, UK director of Integrated Systems Sales at Shure. “We look forward to welcoming all our existing and new customers to the Centre and understanding their AV needs and requirements in the best possible environment.”

Shure is now welcoming customers to the new London Experience Centre to understand and appreciate the collaborative solutions available to them within the conferencing, meeting, and education sectors.
