Canal+ IT Infrastructure Manager to present at ITBW

Charles Lesoil of CANAL+ will deliver a session entitled ‘Content Exchange and Catchup TV platform’ at this year’s IT Broadcast Workflow conference at BAFTA on 9 July as part of a full programme of case studies from industry experts.

Lesoil, Manager of Digital and IT Infrastructure, Broadcast Engineering for the French broadcasting giant, is responsible for the design, specification and delivery of all technical systems involved in producing, editing, enriching and delivering content to non-linear distribution platforms, including IPTV and OTT.

Lesoil’s considerable experience in the broadcast industry began in IT, with three years of consultancy before positions with Radio France International and the France 24 News Channel. He joined the CANAL+ Group in 2011.
