PL+S 2017: Coda reveals new Arrayable Point Source system

Coda Audio has launched a new three-way Arrayable Point Source System (APS) at this year’s Prolight + Sound exhibition at the Messe in Frankfurt.

Combining the user-friendliness of a point source with the arrayability of a line array, APS is designed as a reinforcement system for medium-sized applications.

APS addresses the limitations of traditional point source systems by offering what the company describes as ‘unprecedented flexibility and performance standards.’

APS can perform a range of functions either as a single speaker or in tightly packed horizontal or vertical arrays. The main element of the system, the 2 x 10in three-way arrayable APS loudspeaker, has an ‘exceptional’ power to size ratio, which, along with the APS-SUB – an 18in high output compact subwoofer – can easily be ground-stacked or flown when driven by Coda LINUS amplification.

Prolight + Sound also saw Coda introduce its new T-RACK amplification products (pictured, above). Each T-RACK comprises 3 x LINUS14 – a 4-channel DSP, Network, Comparator and Amplifier.

Meanwhile, the company also recently appointed Ton Groen as managing director of its newly-created Coda Audio Deutschland division.

Coda Audio can be found in Hall 3.1, at Stand F24.
