Power Mixing

AKG has introduced a new line of digital automatic microphone mixers, DMM6 and DMM12. DMM12 offers 12 inputs, while easily adjusting the mic to line level. Its four line outputs (two stereo) are individually assignable for each input. The stereo record outputs are individually assignable, while the headphone out port allows users to listen to each input and output individually. DMM6 offers six inputs and two line outputs (one stereo).

AKG has also released its updated C1000 S multi-purpose condenser microphone, which now runs on two AA batteries at 120h, instead of a 9V block battery, and offers two gain settings, three frequency settings and two polar patterns: cardioid and hypercardioid.

Another new launch is the successor to its B18 condenser microphone battery power supply, the B48 L. It features a very low noise level, frequency response of 20Hz-24Hz and an inverse polarity protection feature against incorrect battery insertion, and provides more than 20 hours of use on two AA batteries.
